The why

Welcome to my blog.
    I decided to write out a blog, mostly because I have decided that my faith needs to be public. I want to be bold about my faith. Sometimes I am not able to share all that I want to share and I thought that through a blog, I might be able to share my thoughts about faith with you my reader and that maybe it will become a conversation starter for later. Often, especially now, I find people very unsure of what to say to me, and I often don't have enough courage to bring up the topic. I am hoping that this will help with conversations and help me share my faith. So I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
    Another purpose of this blog is to keep everyone up to date on our family. There was a time when our immediate family was very private, but apparently since moving, circumstances have caused that to no longer be the case. As family and friends move away, I thought this would be a good way to keep anyone who wants to know, up to date.
    A third purpose for this blog is to help you, the reader, to help others that may find themselves in need of comfort, strength, hope and love. I have found so much comfort, strength, hope and love in the Word of God and I hope to be posting multiple verses that have helped me, especially over the past few months. Please share these verses with whomever you might find yourself in contact with who are in need. And whether it is you that is in need, or someone you know, please let me know and I will keep them in my prayers. We are so blessed to have so many people praying for us, and we have definitely felt everyone's prayers. God has been faithful to answer those prayers as I believe the only reason I'm still functioning is strength from God. I'd like to be able to help others by praying for them as well.
